(parent field directions) From the I80 freeway, take the Gilman Street exit & go east on Gilman Street. From San Pablo Ave go west on Gilman Street. Turn north on 5th & go one block to Harrison. Parking for all fields is on the streets; do not block driveways or park in red zones or on private property.

All users of the Rumrill Sports Park must adhere to the following rules and regulations as outlined below and those posted in the park.

Spectators must remain in the designated spectator areas and not enter the synthetic turf playing and/or sideline areas.

Footwear on synthetic turf fields must be molded rubber cleats, turf or running shoes.

To avoid damage, following items are PROHIBITED on synthetic field turf areas:
- Long cleats, metal cleats, screw-in plastic cleats or studs
- Heals on footwear.
- Chairs, tents, shade canopies, team benches or umbrellas of any kind.
- Team or comer flags with sharp ends.
- Chalk, paint or other field marking compounds.
- Wheeled ice coolers or ice chests.
- Barbeque grills of any kind.
- Food, gum, snacks, candy, including shelled nuts, such as sunflower seeds or peanuts. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Sugar-sweetened beverages, including Gatorade or other items of similar nature Beverages. WATER is the ONLY beverage permitted on fields.
- No picking or pulling of synthetic grass fibers or infill granules.
- No digging into synthetic field areas with feet, hands, and/or any other object.

The following items are PROHIBITED past the field area entry gate:
- Bicycles, skates, skateboards, in-line skates or scooters.

The following items are PROHIBITED in ALL park areas including the parking lot:
- Smoking and use of smokeless tobacco products.
- Alcoholic beverages of any kind.
- Pets (except for approved service/assistance animals).
- Glass or containers of any kind.
- Candles, open flames or fireworks of any kind.
- No hitting, kicking or climbing on surrounding fencing.
- Vending/Selling is prohibited in all parks, including the fields and parking lots.
- Only City of San Pablo permitted vendors are allowed to sell and will be handled out of kiosks.
- Inappropriate or indecent language, conduct and/or harassment or offensive behavior is strictly prohibited.
- Any conduct that may jeopardize the safety of others, or of the individual or groups prohibited.

Leagues with players who are found using screw-in stud footwear on the synthetic turf field will be responsible for damages.

No spitting perm itted on fields. In addition, team coaches or officials are required to notify city staff any time there are bodily fluids (e.g. blood, vomit) identified on the field surface.

Vehicles shall be parked only in designated areas. Driveways and entrances must be clear at all times. Violators may be ticketed or towed at owner's expense.

Tom Bates Regional Sports Complex - From I-80 West, take Gilman St. Exit in Berkeley, turn right on Gilman St. Fields on are left. There is off street parking available next to the fields. South U-10A is a synthetic turf field that is part of South Turf and closest to North Turf. From I-80 East take Gilman St. Exit and turn left.
